Kultar Singh is an entrepreneur, researcher, author and poet. He is the co-founder and CEO of Sambodhi Research and Communications. He has over 20 years of experience in social research, evaluation, and data analytics to generate rigorous evidence to influence and inform policy for programmatic decisions. Over the last 20 years, his work has helped shape discourse around research and analytics. He has led over 150 research and evaluation projects for multilateral and bilateral donors and private foundations across thematic areas.
He has also contributed to research and evaluation capacity building. He co-founded the Community of Evaluators–South Asia and the South Asian Journal of Evaluation. In addition, he has been extensively involved in building research and analytical capacities across the South Asian region and has trained more than a thousand professionals in different thematic areas of research and analytics. He has also led SurveyPoint (www. surveypoint.ai), a consumer feedback platform.
He has authored four books on research, data analytics, and evaluation, including “Quantitative Social Research Methods” and “A Practitioners’ Manual on Monitoring and Evaluation of Development Projects”. His work has been published in a leading peer-reviewed research and evaluation journal.
